Intel's Credit Card-Sized Computer

The Intel Compute Card was announced the last 5 January 2017. It is being developed to help you understand the Internet of Things and enable more smart and connected devices.

The device has all the elements of a full computer, like intel SoC, memory, storage and wireless conectivity. It has flexible I/O options, so hardware manufacturers can optimize their own solutions.

To be able to use it, the device makers have to build in a standard Intel Copute Card slot into their own devices. This reduce the time and resources needed to design and validate the computing block. Moreover, it helps speed up innovation to bring the power of intelligence  into an ever wider range of devices. Intel is working with a wide range of partners as Dell, Lenovo, Seneca Data, InFocus, and more.

The Intel Compute Card will be available in the middle of 2017. For more information you can visit its page: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/compute-card/intel-compute-card.html
